Collective Worship at Kentisbeare
Collective worship is at the heart of daily life at Kentisbeare Church of England Primary School. Every day, our children come together to pause, reflect and explore our Christian vision through worship, either as a whole school or within their own classes. This may be through a Bible story, singing together, prayer, quiet reflection or simply taking time to think about the values and themes that guide our school community.
Each Friday, we gather as a whole school at St Mary's Church for our Celebration Worship, where we celebrate achievements, share successes and come together as one school family.

Prayer
We end each act of collective worship with prayer, offering children a moment to pause, reflect and respond. In line with Church of England guidance, prayer is always invitational; children are warmly encouraged to take part in a way that is meaningful and comfortable for them.
Alongside familiar school prayers, children are invited to write and share their own prayers, or to ask for prayers for people and situations that are important to them. We also enjoy using a range of children's prayer books and reflections, allowing pupils to discover different ways of praying and to find words that inspire, comfort and encourage them.

Collective Worship Plans
Our collective worship is carefully planned to reflect our Christian vision and provide meaningful opportunities for reflection, prayer and celebration. Through Bible stories, Christian festivals, values and current events, we aim to ensure our worship is inclusive, invitational and inspiring for all.
